QUESTION
“I am interested in any product that will help with my dog’s change in behavior. She was once very friendly to both humans as well as other dogs. Now she just barks at all humans, won’t go near them and will not play with other dogs at all. I’m quite concerned. Do you have a product that will help her get back to what she once was? Thanks”
-Burt
ANSWER
Hi Burt,
You will be pleased to know that we do have a remedy in our range for what your pet seems to be experiencing. It has many successful customers and we can only hope that you will have the same success with your dog.
For your pet’s aggression, we recommend that you try our PetAlive Aggression Formula which contains a unique combination of specially selected herbal and homeopathic ingredients well known for their ability to encourage peaceful attitudes.
Especially aimed at pets that tend to vocalize and physically vent their frustrations, PetAlive Aggression Formula helps to treat the problem of aggression in socially inept and easily agitated pets and allows your pet to relax and enjoy the company of other people and animals.
PetAlive Aggression Formula can be used regularly for the highly-strung pet, or as needed to support instinctual behavior and discourage common physical signs of irritation.
QUESTION
” Hi, I just ask if it would be ok to give my Chihuahua both the Aggression Formula and the PetCalm formulas together, as we are giving her the Aggression Formula now when needed. She no longer bites, but needs to be calmer when doing her nails. And you answered back we could do both. But do we give her the same amount of each as you would if just using just one of them, or do we need to cut back as we would be doing two kinds at once? Thank you. ” -Diana
ANSWER
Hi Diana,
It is perfectly safe for you to take the mentioned remedies in combination due to the high safety profile of our ingredients.
I understand what you are asking, and the answer is that you would still give the same recommended dose as if your Chihuahua was only taking one of the remedies.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
Warm regards,

How long a dog can survive without appropriate treatment after being diagnose of Diabetes? Is it possible for them to fully recover from Diabetes if treatment is being applied?
Daniele
Answer:
Hi Danielle,
Thank you for your query. You are to be commended for researching the use of natural alternatives.
Diabetes mellitus is a condition caused by too much glucose (sugar) in your blood. The problem with this sugar in the blood is that it binds to the different things in blood eg. hormones, thus stopping these from working. The sugar will also damage the blood vessels themselves, leading to problems like retinopathy (where the vision is altered). The sugar also effects with oxygen supply, thus making your pet sluggish. If diabetes is not treated it can cause long-term health problems.
Unfortunately, diabetes is a chronic condition and can only be managed, but not cured. However with treatment, your pet could lead a relatively normal life. If the cause of the diabetes is treatable then you might be able to ‘cure the diabetes’.
We recommend our PetAlive GlucoBalance for diabetes. GlucoBalance contains a specially selected combination of herbs known for their ability to control and balance blood sugar levels and improve insulin production and bio-availability. It also reduces high cholesterol and boosts immune functioning and protect against disease. It assists in the treatment of diabetes-related conditions like circulation problems and eye disease and promotes wound healing. GlucoBalance can be used to increase energy levels and reduce fatigue. Research has demonstrated that the ingredients in GlucoBalance help to regulate blood sugar levels. GlucoBalance is very effective used alone, or as part of a total veterinarian treatment program.

Question:
My one year old Jack Russell has just overnight developed multiple bumps under her skin that are very itchy. They are all over her back and legs. They are making her hair raised and she is scraching and can’t seem to stop. They are all under the skin. Please help.
Chris
Answer:
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your query. You are to be commended for researching the use of natural alternatives.
It must be very distressing to see your pet so sick. Since we are unable to examine your pet, we cannot make a diagnosis. Thus we recommend that you take your pet to your vet, where a correct diagnosis can be made and any underlying conditions may be ruled out. Thereafter, we will be happy to help determine, if need be, which of our remedies would best suit your pet.
For your pet’s constant scratching we can highly recommend our Skin and Coat Tonic. This will help to restore healthy skin and glossy coat, improve skin functioning and strengthen hair shaft and follicle, treat dry scaly skin and eczema and relieve itching, accelerate healing of skin lesions and fungal infections of the skin, improve liver, kidney and thyroid functioning as well as overall health.

Question:
Six months ago I adopted a two year old dog. He is a well-mannered animal except for the anxiety he suffers when we leave him alone. He doesn’t destroy things or go to the bathroom in the house or even bark, but he shakes excessively whenever he knows we’re going to leave the house and he cries.
Upon returning, he is naturally, excited, but won’t leave our side. Even when we return home, he is still shaking for at least an hour. He becomes so upset that he won’t eat. In fact, the only time he is calm enough to eat is in the middle of the night, when he knows we are home. any suggestions? We have already tried all of the usual tactics…not making a fuss when we leave, crate training, etc…and seeing that he doesn’t eat, I don’t know that any medication would would help.

Question from Melissa:
“I have a 12 year old Shepherd mix (possibly Lab). After reading all the side affects of Rimadyl and other medications, I’m looking to give him something more natural that won’t kill him if it doesn’t really do the job. His weight is between 65-70 pounds. He still acts like a puppy when we get home and still doesn’t hesitate to jump on the couch, but he’s slow to get up now and has the shaky back legs. He doesn’t seem to be in any pain yet but does pant more now. He still loves to go out for walks but does tire sooner than he did in the past. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.”

Question from Lauri:
“After the pet food scare I’ve been doing research on all the things that are actually harmful to my beloved dogs. I want to give them the best life possible. I have a 1-1/2 year old male yellow lab and a 1 year old Basenji mix that we adopted (don’t know what she’s a mix of). They are both spayed/neutered.
I thought I was giving them good pet food (Iams dry) but now it seems it’s not the best for their health. I could use some guidance. Once I switch over to a holistic food, is there anything available that will help clear their livers/kidneys from the preservatives they have ingested? What about for their optimum health?
Since they are in the early stages of their lives and have received their puppy shots, what else can I look out for? What else can I do for my puppies? How can I make their lives the best & fullest they can be? Help! Your help is appreciated…from one dog lover to the next.”

Question:
I am looking for a product that I can use on my 11 yr old black lab’s ears. She has an ongoing problem with ear wax and odor. We have tried everything from warm olive oil, saline, white vinegar, warm soapy water, and used an ear shringe to suction out the ear wax, but her canals are so deep it seems like we never get enough out to even get her comfortable. Is there anything we can use to melt away the wax or thin it out to get it out? She is having trouble hearing due to this issue.
Thank you in advance,
Nancy
Answer:
Hi Nancy,
Thank you for your query. The fact that you have tried all these methods to no avail suggests that there may be something specific causing the odor and wax buildup. We therefore recommend that you take the dog to the vet as there could be a foreign body stuck in the ear or some other structural anomaly which could be the cause.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
